Terms of Service

EasyGerber is operated by EasyGerber, a Delaware corporation in the United States. In these terms, “EasyGerber,” “we,” and “us” refer to that corporation. The service includes our website, PCB design tools, AI features, parts library, and sharing features.

By creating an account or using the service after being presented with these terms, you agree to them. If you use EasyGerber on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to accept these terms for it.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. Provide accurate account information, keep control of your sign-in methods, and tell us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

You are responsible for the activity you authorize through your account. Do not impersonate another person or organization or use an account you are not authorized to access.

You retain the rights you hold in the designs, prompts, files, and other content you submit. These terms do not transfer ownership of that content to EasyGerber.

You give us permission to host, copy, process, transmit, and display your content as needed to provide the service, including generating designs, saving your work, preparing exports, and applying the sharing choices you make. This includes processing by the service providers described in our Privacy Policy.

Only submit material you have the right to use and authorize us to process. Respect the rights of other people, including intellectual property and confidentiality obligations.

AI output may be similar to output provided to others. We do not guarantee that output is unique, eligible for intellectual property protection, or free of third-party rights. Parts, models, datasheets, and other third-party materials remain subject to their applicable rights and licenses.

When you publish a board, its design and the conversation included in its public version become available to others. Review both before publishing and remove anything you do not want to make public.

Public board designs are offered under the CERN Open Hardware Licence Version 2 — Permissive (CERN-OHL-P-2.0). You must have the rights needed to publish the design under that license. Its terms govern reuse of the licensed design, including applicable notices and attribution.

Other people can view, download, and copy public boards. Making a board private or deleting it does not withdraw rights already granted under its license or remove copies that others have already made.

EasyGerber is a design tool. AI-generated circuits, layouts, component selections, checks, estimates, and manufacturing files can contain errors or omissions. A completed generation or a passed check does not certify that a board is safe, functional, compliant, or ready for production.

You are responsible for reviewing and testing a design before fabrication, assembly, or use. This includes checking electrical behavior, component ratings, footprints, clearances, manufacturing requirements, and any standards that apply to your product.

Obtain qualified engineering review where appropriate, particularly for designs where a fault could cause injury or damage. Do not rely on EasyGerber alone to validate a safety-critical application.

Catalog availability and cost estimates can change. A displayed estimate is not a binding manufacturer quote. Purchases from manufacturers and other suppliers are subject to their own terms.

Use EasyGerber lawfully and respect other users. You must not:

• Upload content that infringes another person’s rights or that you are not authorized to disclose.
• Attempt to access private boards, accounts, systems, or data without permission.
• Distribute malware, disrupt the service, or bypass security controls or usage limits.
• Use the service for fraud, harassment, or unlawful activity.

We may change features or restrict access when reasonably necessary to maintain the service, address abuse or security problems, or comply with law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these terms. Where practical and permitted, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Keep your own copies of designs and exports you need. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or permanent availability of a particular feature.

You can stop using the service at any time. To request account closure or deletion of personal information, email hello@easygerber.com. The Privacy Policy explains retention and the limits of deleting content that has already been shared publicly.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service and its outputs are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that designs or other outputs will be accurate, error-free, or suitable for your intended use.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, EasyGerber is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or loss of data.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or takes away mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. For material changes, we will provide notice through the service or another appropriate channel and seek renewed agreement where required by law.
