How do I connect?

Run the setup command in your terminal, then start a fresh Codex chat. Setup adds the skill and connection for your computer’s user account. It leaves your firmware projects unchanged.

Ask your agent whether EasyGerber offers guest sessions. If available, it can create one board, show its preview, and export files without signing in. Guest support depends on your installed skill and client.

For saved account boards or organization work, sign in through Codex’s MCP settings and approve access.

What can I try without an account?

Each guest session gives you one board with no automatic expiry and unlimited edits, layouts, checks, previews, and exports. You can download manufacturing ZIP and EasyGerber files before signup. Normal request-rate, board-complexity, and service-capacity protections apply.

Keep the private board link your agent returns so you can come back to it. Anyone with that link can access the design. For account ownership, recovery through your account, and more boards under your plan, open the link, sign in or create an account, and choose Keep board.

Download links expire after fifteen minutes; your guest board does not. Downloaded files remain yours to keep.

What about access and pricing?

You choose the permissions. Your organization roles and existing plan limits apply. Placement, routing, and scoring run on EasyGerber’s servers.

Account board generation uses your plan’s compute allowance. Direct layout uses no EasyGerber AI credits; your agent provider may charge separately.
